1. Introduction

CertCrowd is committed to conducting business ethically, transparently, and in accordance with human rights principles. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, child labour, and debt bondage. This statement outlines the steps CertCrowd has taken, and plans to take, to identify and reduce the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chain.

2. Our Structure, Operations and Supply Chain

CertCrowd Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that provides Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions to businesses seeking ISO certification, audit readiness, and operational compliance.

Our operations are primarily digital and include:

  • Product design, software development, and maintenance
  • Customer support, consulting, and implementation services
  • Marketing, administrative, and financial operations

Our workforce operates remotely and within Australia. Our direct suppliers mainly provide:

  • Cloud hosting and computing services
  • Professional services
  • Software tools and SaaS subscriptions
  • Office and IT equipment

We recognise that our supply chain includes both domestic and international vendors. We have assessed our overall exposure to modern slavery risk as low due to the nature of our business and the industries we engage with.

3. Identifying and Assessing Modern Slavery Risks

CertCrowd has reviewed its operations and supply chain to identify potential risk areas, focusing on:

  • Technology supply chains where electronic components or devices may involve manufacturing in higher-risk regions
  • Third-party contractors or offshore service providers, particularly where labour standards may differ
  • Professional service providers with sub-contracting arrangements

4. Actions Taken to Address Modern Slavery Risks

To mitigate risks, CertCrowd has implemented the following actions:

  • Supplier due diligence: We assess new suppliers for their ethical and labour practices, prioritising vendors that publish modern slavery or ethical sourcing statements.
  • Contractual controls: Supplier and partner agreements include clauses requiring compliance with all applicable labour, human rights, and modern slavery laws.
  • Internal awareness: Team members involved in procurement and partner onboarding receive guidance on identifying and escalating modern slavery concerns.
  • Ethical policy integration: Our Code of Conduct and Procurement Policy reference ethical sourcing and fair labour principles.
  • Response process: We maintain an internal reporting process for any identified or suspected modern slavery issues, including escalation to management and remediation where possible.

5. Measuring Effectiveness

We monitor our progress by:

  • Maintaining a register of all suppliers and their modern slavery disclosures
  • Reviewing supplier compliance annually
  • Updating risk assessments as our supply chain or operating model evolves
  • Reporting findings and improvement actions in our management review meetings

6. Future Commitments

Over the next reporting period, CertCrowd aims to:

  • Formalise a Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Conduct a structured annual review of key suppliers' human rights policies
  • Enhance transparency through public reporting on progress against this statement

7. Approval and Sign-off
